Naoko Kuriyama grew up in Yokohama, where she developed a deep appreciation for its landscapes and history. After university, she worked in global sales and promotions. In her 30s, she moved to the US after getting married, where she balanced a corporate career with her passion for bridging cultures as a Japanese-English interpreter.
Since returning to Japan in 2017, Naoko has freelanced as an interpreter for businesses and hospitals while also working in real estate with IREA. Building friendships with clients is her greatest joy, especially when it comes to helping them settle into new homes.
