Overview
A few years ago, I helped a Hong Kong client rent a property, and now I assisted them in purchasing land to build their dream home.
Challenges
They were looking for a house in prime areas like Shibuya and Aoyama, but these areas are some of the most expensive in Tokyo, so it was difficult to find a property in the location they wanted.
Solutions
Initially, we searched for an existing house, but since they couldn’t find a house they liked, they decided to purchase land and build their own home. We found a good plot of land in Shoto, Shibuya, but it was slightly over budget, and they couldn’t make a decision right away. After some time, they decided to proceed, but by then, the land had already been purchased by someone else. We continued searching for land and helped them understand the current market conditions in Tokyo. Eventually, they found a plot they liked in Shibuya.
Results
They wanted to build their own dream home, so they had direct meetings with construction companies and, in the end, successfully built a home tailored to their preferences.
