Akane Hosaka has spent most of her life in Tokyo and Yokohama, giving her deep familiarity with the local communities, neighborhoods, and lifestyle these cities offer. Before entering the real estate industry, Akane worked as a nail artist and makeup instructor, where she built lasting relationships with clients from many different countries.

Through these experiences—and through helping her American husband navigate Japan’s rental market—Akane became aware of the challenges many international residents face when searching for housing in Japan. Seeing these difficulties firsthand inspired her to pursue a career in real estate, with the goal of creating a smoother and more welcoming experience for clients from abroad.
